Min founded EVmode after personally experiencing the widespread issue of failing electric vehicle chargers. Extensive research into current U.S. EV charging companies revealed that 40-60% of EV chargers fail within 2 years after installation, due to incompatible hardware, software, and firmware that don’t effectively communicate with each other.
As EV charger demand grows, EVmode is uniquely positioned to not only meet demand but solve the reliability problem. As part of his business strategy, Min acquired a 75% stake in a successful Korean EV charging company, then hired the brightest minds from LG, Apple, Hyundai, and Samsung to create a cohesive team. Min designed the company to be fully vertically integrated with design, firmware, hardware, software, engineering, repairs, and sales all under one roof. By manufacturing the EV chargers in the U.S., EVmode ensures quality control and delivers the most reliable, fast, and affordable chargers, with a failure rate of 1 percent.
Min’s vision is to make EVmode chargers the fastest chargers on the market. EVmode’s Gen 1 chargers are already faster than competitors’ products, and to take it a step further, Min and his team will be launching a dual-port model.
