Natalie Alvarez is the Director of Project Management and Strategic Alliances at Solyco Capital, a private equity group that delivers capital solutions for late-stage startup and growth companies.

 

In 2022 she was appointed by Governor Lee to serve on the Tennessee State Workforce Development Board. Serving over six million Tennesseans, and managing an annual budget of $200M, the Board provides leadership and guidance to the state’s workforce system, while also increasing the competitive position of Tennessee businesses and attracting new businesses through the development of a highly skilled workforce.

 

Natalie was also recently featured in a national campaign by OUTFRONT Media as a trailblazer and change-maker for Hispanic Heritage month. She was among leaders in media, finance, health, CPG, entertainment, aeronautics, and beyond who are inspiring a new generation of Americans of all ethnicities.

 

Prior to joining Solyco, Natalie Alvarez was a Director at Alder, a national, social, and civic organization of private-sector leaders who share a desire to secure a free and just society for generations to come. As the first hire of Alder, Natalie’s expertise is anchored in relationship management, community building, political fundraising and stewardship, and experience design.

 

Natalie is also passionate about civic engagement and has over a decade of experience volunteering for political campaigns and PACs with the goal of encouraging women to run for office.

 

Earlier in her career, Natalie was a Strategist at Outside Eyes, a marketing and communications firm specializing in messaging and earned media for industries including sports, real estate, technology, entertainment, and nonprofits.

 

She studied Communications and Public Relations at California State University Fullerton and earned her M.B.A. from Concordia University. A lifelong learner, she most recently earned a certification from Yale’s School of Executive Management in Women’s Leadership.

 

She’s an avid reader, a lover of freedom, a student of fine fragrance, and has been published in online millennial story-telling platforms.
