Damian has over $7B in hands on transaction experience as a leader in a Fortune 100 company, government, private equity, banking and start ups. As in-house counsel for IBM, Damian developed deep expertise leading large transactions in manufacturing, employment, labor, franchise, environmental and antitrust law. As a founder of Seger Financial, Damian grew the PE firm and navigated it to a profitable exit with responsibilities of regulatory compliance, investment analysis, and investor relations while holding securities licenses 63, 7, and 24.
Damian was Chairman/CEO/General Counsel of a $650M community bank with an institutional investment portfolio of $170M. Appointed by the Governor of MI, Damian was Chair of the Michigan Gaming Control Board including oversight of Michigan’s $1.4B gaming industry. Damian currently holds key positions in his software company and strategic advising firm.
Damian earned his BA from the University of Michigan, Juris Doctor at the University of Colorado, and Banking degree from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
